Sandwich Share: Il Cane Rosso's Pork

After declaring Il Cane Rosso's warm egg salad sandwich one of five San Francisco sammies I need to try ASAP, I suggested to Andrew (my intended) that we meet there for lunch sometime. So the next day, he went without me.

I know, I can't believe it either. But I can't be too mad, because he took a photo of his sandwich and emailed it to me. Or maybe he was just gloating. Regardless, doesn't this milk-braised pork sandwich with fennel and green olive tapenade look divine? I think I have to go this week, without Andrew.

I'm in. I've been wanting to try them for lunch for awhile. I bet we can talk a couple more of the engineers in too

You know, it's not like I just went out of spite or anything. I happened to be going for lunch and I just happened to be heading to the Ferry Building. I happened to take a left upon entrance and I just happened to suggest this place to my lunch companions. So what if I didn't offer any alternatives. It's not my fault that they agreed. On an unrelated note, has anyone else noticed that the forbidden sandwiches taste better?
